2016 EAA National Sales Compensation Survey
2016 EAA National Sales Compensation Survey focuses solely on sales
professionals and the unique and varied ways organizations compensate these
individuals. 875 companies reporting for 1029 locations are represented in this
survey. Survey includes positions in sales management, outside and inside
sales, and route sales, reported across four categories:
- Combined Compensation – all compensation paid for all incumbents reported
- Base Salary Only – no incentive program yielding variable pay
- Base Salary Plus Variable – pay programs that include base salary plus incentive
- Variable Pay Only – all compensation is variable or incentive-based; no base pay
Breakouts by gross sales volume, industry, region, and association are also provided for each position.
